Composite Dental Restorations

Advantages of Tooth-Colored “Fillings”

There are many advantages to tooth-colored restorations. Resin or composite restoration material has become the contemporary choice when restoring (filling) a tooth.

This material allows the dentist to be more conservative and aesthetically pleasing without compromising function and performance. At H&L Dentistry we use modern materials and techniques that are proven to provide our patients with the best options available.

Inlays and onlays can be used in instances where much of the tooth structure has been lost. These restorations are made at a dental laboratory and typically require two separate appointments. These restorations are bonded to the teeth creating a tight, superior fit to the natural tooth.

These restorations are aesthetically pleasing and very strong thanks to new bonding technologies.
